Ben Eater

Ben Eater is the Lead Exercise Developer at Khan Academy, a non-profit education platform dedicated to providing a free world-class education for anyone, anywhere. 

Khan Academy is most well-known for its library of over 3,500 instructional videos, but it also offers over 400 interactive exercises that allow students to work at their own pace to learn and master anything from basic addition through calculus.

Ben first became involved with Khan Academy in the fall of 2011 as a volunteer creating exercise content in his spare time while working on his own business in the networking industry. After 6 months of contributing to Khan Academy, he felt no choice but to drop everything, move across the country, and join the team full-time.

Now, Ben leads a team of several developers who, together, are responsible for creating all of the interactive exercises and assessment content on Khan Academy. He is excited about being able to work with innovative schools, visionary teachers, and use data from hundreds of millions of problems done to make the learning experiences of millions of students more effective and joyful.
