Marisa currently serves as the STEM Curriculum and Content Creator with the Center for Technology and Workforce Innovation. In this position, Marisa collaborates with programs within the NCWIT K-12 Alliance to create and support professional development and curriculum-supporting content. Marisa has over a decade of experience creating and supporting learning experiences in K-12 classrooms with a specific focus on STEM teaching and learning. Marisa holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wheelock College and a M.Ed from the Boston Teacher Residency, UMASS Boston.
She strongly believes that STEM is for everyone and that supporting the next generation of technologists and creative, critical thinkers is essential for our collective future.
Marisa lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts and when she’s not working she can be found outside enjoying a long walk, a good book, or quality time with her family!
