Danielle Olson is a Ph.D. Student in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at MIT and works as a Research Assistant in the Imagination, Computation, and Expressions (ICE) Lab within the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). She serves as Founder at Gique (pronounced “geek”) Corporation, a Boston-based nonprofit 501(c)3 which exists to inspire and education youth in science, technology, engineering, art + design, and math (STEAM) through transformational learning experiences. She also works as a Virtual Reality (VR) Developer & Research Consultant for Mediate VR, an MIT Sandbox-funded startup which provides a cloud-based system for AI- and voice- driven collaboration in virtual reality. Danielle graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering and a humanities concentration in Brain & Cognitive Science from MIT in 2014.
