Recognitions Program Manager for Aspirations in Computing (AiC)

Susahnn Valente is the Recognitions Program Manager for Aspirations in Computing (AiC), NCWIT’s program that recognizes young women, genderqueer, and nonbinary high school and collegiate students for their interest and accomplishments in computing. 

As a nonprofit professional for over ten years, Susahnn is thrilled to highlight and support aspiring technologists through the Recognitions program. She received her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with minors in Business and Music, from Arizona State University and a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. Her work includes community building, championing gender equality in sports, and closing the activity gap for students in under-resourced schools. 

In her free time Susahnn loves to spend time with family and friends, taking walks, and having dance parties.
