Michelle Slattery is a Professional Research Associate for the Trauma, Health, and Hazards Center. She has more than 25 years of experience as a professional evaluator, working with diverse clients on complex grants. She holds an M.A. in Human Factors Psychology from Wright State University.
Slattery is the Lead Evaluator and Principal Investigator for the Jail Diversion and Trauma Recovery – Priority to Veterans and Veterans Enhanced Treatment Services Grants awarded to the Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health, and the Colorado State Judicial Branch, respectively, by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Both of these grants evaluate the 4th Judicial District Veteran Trauma Court in Colorado Springs.
Slattery is also the president of Peak Research, which recently celebrated its 21st anniversary of providing internal and external evaluation services to the National Science Foundation, the Department of Education, more than a dozen university clients, Biological Sciences Curriculum Study, and the National Research Center.
