Involvement

Tami Mallett is Vice President and Enterprise Group CIO for Hewlett Packard.

Tami oversees the delivery of application development and support, customer service and technology innovations and solutions to meet the needs of the HP Enterprise Group, including the server, storage, networking, and technology services teams, as well as the enterprise sales force. She is also responsible for delivering information technology for pan-HP functions such as sales, quote-to-cash, product quality, R&D, and growth markets.

Tami has more than 30 years experience as an IT professional, including 25 years with HP and Compaq. She has held senior IT leadership roles working with most every functional area in the company, ranging from sales, ecommerce, and quote to cash to supply chain and finance.

Tami has launched many new functions for HP, including SAP Enterprise Resource Planning, offshore development, and customer support. She has also led the information technology setup for many countries. Her extensive international experience includes leading HP teams in India, China, Malaysia, Mexico, and Costa Rica for the past six years. Tami also led the Application Transformation initiative across IT to radically modernize HP’s application portfolio.

Tami has been honored with a Top Twenty Women in Technology award and was recently nominated to the Board of Directors for the National Center for Women & Information Technology.

Tami holds a BS in computer science and accounting from Texas A&M University. She resides with her family in Houston, Texas and is currently on a temporary assignment in Palo Alto, California.
