Vice President of Global Culture & Engagement

Aisha Washington is a global people and culture executive with more than two decades of experience driving enterprise growth through HR M&A integration, workforce AI transformation, high-performance culture, and team member intelligence. She connects people strategy, technology, and culture to business priorities—helping complex global organizations navigate transformation, strengthen performance, and accelerate sustainable growth.

Aisha serves as Vice President of Global Culture & Engagement at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where she leads an enterprise agenda spanning high-performance culture, team member intelligence, and workforce transformation. She translates workforce insights into strategies that strengthen leadership effectiveness, organizational agility, innovation, and business performance across HPE’s global operations.

Aisha also leads the integration of culture and team member experience across HPE’s mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and outsourcing initiatives. By embedding workforce insights, leadership alignment, and culture activation throughout the transaction lifecycle, she helps protect business continuity, accelerate integration, sustain trust, and enable value realization from day one.

Aisha’s approach to high-performance culture is grounded in the belief that belonging, accountability, bold thinking, and collaboration create the conditions for people and businesses to perform at their best. Through HPE’s Culture Blueprint, she translates these principles into shared leadership expectations and enterprise-wide behaviors that strengthen execution, innovation, and organizational resilience.

During Aisha’s leadership, HPE has received sustained external recognition for its culture and workplace practices, including being named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies and a Best Place to Work, earning a 100% score on the Disability Equality Index from Disability:IN, and being recognized among America’s Most JUST Companies. Aisha’s perspectives on culture, workforce transformation, and leadership have also been featured in The Wall Street Journal and CIO magazine.

Before joining HPE, Aisha spent nearly 15 years at PwC leading human resources and talent strategies, including leadership development, empathy-based upskilling, and diverse talent pipelines. She is a certified executive coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). Aisha holds a BS in Economics from the University of Missouri–Columbia, where she was a published researcher, and a Management Certificate from Cornell University.

Aisha lives in Texas with her husband, Larry, and four children — Ernesto, Tre, Gabby, and Josiah. On weekends, she can be found cheering at her kids’ sporting events or relaxing with her family on Lake Whitney.
