Luz M. Gonzalez is Senior Vice President of Solutions Delivery for AT&T Technology Development Entertainment Group (Tech Dev EG).  In this role she is responsible for all program management of technical solutions supporting U-Verse and DIRECTV products; the business analysis, design, development and support of legacy DIRECTV platforms and applications; and the planning, development and support of merger conversions and IT Legacy Transformation programs.  Her organization played a critical role in the preparation of the AT&T / DIRECTV merger and Customer Day One following the merger.  Gonzalez and her team were responsible for the program management activities and the design, development & testing of the technical solutions on the DIRECTV side.

 

Prior to the AT&T / DIRECTV merger, Luz Gonzalez served as Senior Vice President of IT Solutions Delivery for DIRECTV.  She led a globally distributed team of more than 1600 resources responsible for supporting and delivering all DIRECTV IT applications and systems.  Her organization included: IT project management, development, quality assurance, and business analysis.  Gonzalez and her team were responsible for delivering initiatives that allowed DIRECTV to transform the customer experience, enhance the entertainment experience, release new products, and create business efficiencies.  During her time at DIRECTV she built a reputation on her ability to deliver results, build high-performing teams, and lead change through an enterprise mindset that inspires fearless high performance and innovation.

 

Gonzalez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California Berkeley.  She enjoys traveling, music, and collecting art.  She and her family currently reside in Downey, California.
