Former Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Vice President of Social Impact

Dawn Jones is the Former Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO), Vice President of Social Impact at Intel Corporation.  In her pivotal role, she spearheaded Intel’s comprehensive social impact initiatives.  Her responsibilities encompassed a wide range of areas including diversity and inclusion, corporate social responsibility, the Intel Foundation, philanthropic endeavors, and the implementation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.

As a global leader, Dawn united cross-functional teams to proactively identify and develop innovative solutions that mitigate the impact of social challenges on Intel’s business.  In her role, she cultivated strong partnerships with employees, customers, governments, and communities, generating a dynamic synergy that promotes sustainable impact, elevates company representation, and cultivates an inclusive work environment, enriching the organization’s cultural and business transformation.   In 2021, under Jones’s leadership, Intel launched the Alliance for Global Inclusion which is an industry wide solution to identifying shared goals, challenges, and metrics to drive impact and shared value across the technology industry.

Dawn’s philosophy that leadership is driven from any seat has propelled her 25-year career at Intel from administrative assistant to Vice President.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in communications management from Syracuse University.
