Join the conversation + explore the quantum future!
The 2025 NCWIT Higher Ed Alliance Meeting will take place from 11 – 1 pm PT | 12 – 2 pm MT | 1 – 3 pm CT | 2 – 4 pm ET on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, and will include a presentation about groundbreaking the quantum future, and how this game-changing technology will impact both computer science and the tech workforce.
The talk will be followed by an Alliance meeting with updates on upcoming opportunities and programs. We’ll end the session with networking and community building in breakout rooms.
Quantum technologies will be as important to the next century as semiconductors and their derivative technologies were to the last century. Join Corban Tillemann-Dick, CEO of Maybell Quantum and Founder and Chair of Elevate Quantum, for an exploration of quantum computing and its impact on the modern technology landscape. This session will discuss:
- Fundamentals of quantum technology
- Future applications that promise to reshape industries
- Implications for society
Explore how classical computing expertise intersects with quantum technologies and creates exciting opportunities for workers ranging from physicists and computer scientists to coders, welders, and technicians. Join the conversation to discover how we can work together to shape the quantum future.
