Reboot

Reboot

Reboot is a coalition of leading tech companies that have committed nearly $14M over the next three years toward a goal of doubling the number of Black, Latina, and Native American women earning computing degrees by 2025. This effort was catalyzed by the recent publication of a report by Pivotal Ventures (an investment and incubation company started by Melinda Gates) and McKinsey & Co. called Rebooting Representation. The report findings highlight the gap in the tech sector’s philanthropic spending to close the gender gap in tech – particularly for underrepresented women of color – and the need for increased collaboration and alignment across companies to address this topic.
