Billy Mills (born June 30, 1938), also known as Tamokoce Te’Hila, is an Oglala Lakota Gold Medalist in the 10,000M run at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, former United States Marine, and co-founder of Running Strong for American Indian Youth. His 1964 victory is considered one of the greatest sports moments of all time, and Billy remains the only winner from the Western Hemisphere.
