Welcome to Publishing on Teach Engineering: A Guide for Authors. This course is designed to help authors understand how to develop and submit high-quality, standards-aligned engineering curriculum for the Teach Engineering collection.

●      Identify Teach Engineering resource types and their purpose

●      Recognize key components of a high-quality curriculum submission

●      Understand the Teach Engineering publication process

●      Evaluate curriculum using Teach Engineering quality criteria

Recommended Course Implementation Options

Option A (For Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Facilitators)

●      40 minutes → Complete Lesson 1: Teach Engineering Publication Webinar

●      10–15 minutes → As a group, complete Lesson 2: Check Your Understanding

●      Remaining activities/questions → Assigned as asynchronous homework

Option B (If Time Is Limited For RET Facilitators)

●      Complete Lesson 1: Teach Engineering Publication Webinar during the scheduled session

●      Remaining course components completed asynchronously

Option C (For Independent Authors)

●      Complete the course in its entirety independently before submission

If you exit the course before completing it, your progress will not be saved and you will need to restart from the beginning.
