Join NCWIT for a special “Back to School with NCWIT” virtual workshop! Whether you’re new to NCWIT or want to explore our full range of K-12 programs, this session will equip you with new tools and knowledge for the academic year. The workshop takes place on Wednesday, September 24 at 3:30pm PT / 4:30pm MT / 5:30pm CT / 6:30pm ET.
This Zoom workshop will provide a glimpse into the work of NCWIT’s mission to broaden participation in computing, from inspiring students to enabling the individuals that advise them. You’ll hear from Aspirations in Computing (AiC) students themselves, a conversation with Counselors for Computing (C4C) , and a demonstration from TeachEngineering.org.
What to Expect:
- Discover NCWIT’s K-12 Alliance programs and the many free resources we have to offer.
- Hear about AiC students experiences in the AiC Community and Awards program.
- Engage with a school counselor to learn strategies for integrating computing into workforce readiness.
- Explore practical, ready-to-use STEM activities from TeachEngineering.org.
- Participate in breakout rooms for focused discussions with program representatives.
