As the Director of Development, Malia Fredrickson creates and oversees the implementation of a strategic approach to fundraising, including corporate partnerships and foundation grants. Previously, Malia worked extensively on the Aspirations in Computing program, encouraging thousands of young women to pursue their passion for technology. Prior to joining NCWIT in 2008, Malia was a college counselor for a non-profit in Boston. Malia attended Pepperdine University, where she graduated with honors. Malia lives in Boulder with her son and husband, Dan Fredrickson, a business attorney at KO Law Firm.
