The spring installment of the Meeting of the Minds series hosted by the NCWIT Higher Ed Alliance will take place from 1 – 2 pm PT | 2 – 3 pm MT | 3 – 4 pm CT | 4 – 5 pm ET on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, and will include a presentation about groundbreaking the quantum future, and how this game-changing technology will impact both computer science and the tech workforce.

Quantum technologies will be as important to the next century as semiconductors and their derivative technologies were to the last century. Join Corban Tillemann-Dick, CEO of Maybell Quantum and Founder and Chair of Elevate Quantum, for an exploration of quantum computing and its impact on the modern technology landscape. This session will discuss:

Meet the Presenter

Corban Tillemann-Dick

As founder and CEO of Maybell Quantum, a venture-backed quantum infrastructure company based in Denver, Corban will share insights into quantum computing and its impact on the modern technology landscape. With a background in mechanical engineering and economics, he led Boston Consulting Group’s quantum computing efforts before founding Maybell, and is passionate about advancing quantum technologies and promoting innovation in the field.

Corban also chairs Elevate Quantum, a consortium NCWIT is proud to be a key member of as we work to provide the leadership needed to coordinate the efforts of more than 15 partner organizations and deliver comprehensive quantum skills-based curriculum and training.

By bringing together experienced practitioners and evidence-based research, these events take on today’s largest challenges in broadening participation in computing. This free, online event series is open to the public and geared toward post-secondary computing faculty, staff, researchers, students, and those in student-facing roles who are interested in making innovative system change. Join in online to learn and share resources and solutions alongside colleagues.
