Please make your travel arrangements into Portland International Airport (PDX).
In support of our sustainability efforts, we recommend the following public transportation options from the airport or surrounding area, in lieu of driving:
- light rail, approx. a 30 min. ride and 4 min. walk for $2.30/trip (you can catch it right inside the airport terminal)
- shuttle via Blue Star Transportation, $24 one-way, call toll-free 800-247-2272 for reservations
Our reception on May 19 will be held at the Ecotrust National Capital Center in downtown Portland, and the Symons Innovator Award Party will be held at the Oregon Health & Science University Center for Health & Healing, in the South Waterfront District. We'll be encouraging the use of public transportation to and from these events via the free Portland Streetcar.
The
NCWIT Symons Innovator Award Celebration will take place in Portland Thursday
evening, May 20, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, hosted by the Software
Association of Oregon. If you plan to attend, please make your travel and hotel
reservations accordingly. Tickets to this event are $40 and can be purchased here.
Maps and more will be posted shortly.
